Widmann’s Mansion

A Venetian villa meets Woodstock

Widmann’s Mansion grew from recording sessions at Villa Widmann on the Riviera del Brenta with Aaron “Professor Louie” Hurwitz, Miss Marie and Julien Poulson. Released by Woodstock Records, it brings The Beards together with the musical family of The Band’s producer.

The songs include Life’s a Long Hard Road, In Wintertime and Postcard from Milwaukee. The band’s archive places the album in 2012; the Spotify link opens the 2024 Deluxe Edition.

Original edition year follows the band’s archive. The streaming service may offer a later digital reissue.
